Packaging and shipping options for mica in bulk, processed sheets and fabricated components.
Usually packed in new, strong HDPE bags of 25 kg or 50 kg. Jute bags and jumbo bags can be arranged to buyer requirements.
Where required, bags can be palletised, wrapped and strapped before loading into containers.
Packaging detailsProcessed, fabricated and built-up mica are normally shipped in cardboard or wooden boxes. Standard boxes are 22 × 16 × 8 inches, containing 50 kg net.
Bookform and loose splittings use dedicated box sizes. Confirm the packaging specification with our team for your order.
Box sizes & weightsSea shipments are arranged from Kolkata Port, with shipping lines, agents and connections selected to suit the customer.
Urgent orders can travel by air cargo, air parcel or courier, including DHL, FedEx, UPS and TNT.
International shipmentMaterial is transported by rail or road according to destination and customer convenience. The existing shipment policy prefers rail for longer distances and road for shorter distances.
